Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the efficient management of day-to-day branch operations, ensuring achievement of branch sales targets and delivering a consistent customer experience. The role also involves overseeing inventory, team management, customer service excellence, and promotional initiatives while adhering to company standards and compliance requirements.
1. Branch Operations Planning & Management
- Ensure timely showroom opening and readiness.
- Supervise cash/credit/debit transactions and stock verification.
- Conduct daily morning meetings to review targets.
- Monitor branch functioning in line with SOPs and security protocols.
- Maintain showroom ambience and upkeep.
- KPI: Adherence to budget, SOP compliance, achievement of branch sales targets.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports (sales, accounts, reconciliation, stock).
- Review stock replenishment reports and recommend orders.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of accounts, vouchers, and registers.
- KPI: Timely and accurate submission of reports.
3. Customer Experience Management
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Build strong relationships with high-value customers.
- Handle complaints, escalations, and ensure quick resolution.
- Collect and share customer feedback with the Production/Design team.
- KPI: High customer satisfaction ratings, reduced turnaround time in complaint resolution.
4. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels across product categories.
- Conduct physical stock verification and old gold management.
- Liaise with production and purchase teams for replenishment.
- Track custom orders and ensure timely delivery.
- KPI: Optimum stock levels, zero lapses in gold/repairs/custom orders.
5. Branch Marketing, Advertising & Promotions
- Study competitor promotions and suggest new strategies.
- Plan and execute local marketing campaigns during festivals/events.
- Promote and achieve Gold Tree scheme targets.
- Represent Bhima at customer/community functions.
- KPI: Timely execution of marketing activities, achievement of Gold Tree scheme targets.
6. Team Management
- Communicate monthly targets and motivate the team.
- Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
- Provide training on product knowledge and customer service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure retention.
- KPI: Employee retention and engagement, enhanced customer handling and product knowledge.
