Scope:


As Country Manager you will be representing Badili Africa and will be responsible for the entire Profit and Loss and leading the country's business of Pre-owned Smartphones to success. Have direct oversight of all operations in the country, including in particular Customer Experience, Vendor Management and operational Profitability, Commercial Relevance and Marketing. As Country Manager you will also ensure sharp execution of the centrally defined process, participate in their refinement through the collection of detailed customer/partner feedback, and lead country-related specific projects to reach those objectives.

Role & responsibilities:


Management of the Country:


- Managing the countrys P&L

- To develop and implement an approved country strategic plan annually, quarterly and monthly based on the companys goals, vision, mission & objectives

- Ensure that business objectives, marketing and other activities are in line with a defined strategic plan.

- Ensure that support systems (IT, Finance, HR/Administration, Logistics and Transport) are in place and functioning according to best practice and organizational policy & procedures, to ensure transparency and accountability to the relevant stakeholders.

- Identifies development needs and opportunities in the country.

- Necessary representation to telecom partners and customers and ensure that the identified issues are addressed.

- Manage team efficiency and cohesion

- Create an unparalleled environment for team development and happiness. Support month-end and year-end close process


Financial Management:


- Lead the process of drafting and preparing the annual country budget to ensure all costs are adequately covered.

- Monitor and track all country program expenditures.

- Review and approve all country Purchase Request as submitted


Relationship Management and new revenue generation


- Define and drive action plans to create strong relationships with local partners

- Develop and execute strategies to expand our market share and presence in Nigeria

- Lead and inspire a team, providing guidance and direction to achieve business objectives


Qualification:


- Proven experience as a Country Manager or in a similar senior management role

- Strong local knowledge and deep understanding of pre-owned Smartphones, consumer electronics and laptop market.

- Ability to manage multiple teams efficiently

- Independent and entrepreneurial, yet confident in working in a matrix organization

- Expertise in e-commerce/Re-commerce, logistics/Supply chain Management.

- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skills

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
