Job Summary:

bTranz Technological Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Oracle HCM Consultant with a strong focus on Payroll and Fast Formula to join our expanding consulting team in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, particularly in Payroll and Fast Formula, and have a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting Oracle HCM solutions for enterprise clients.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to various stages of Oracle HCM implementations, upgrades, and support projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business needs.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation:

- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle HCM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Design and configure Oracle HCM modules, with a primary focus on Payroll and Fast Formula, to meet specific client requirements.

- Develop and maintain complex Fast Formulas for various Payroll processes, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and other calculations.

- Design and configure other HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, and Talent Management as needed for integrated solutions.

- Develop and document functional and technical specifications, including process flows, configuration documents, and test scripts.

- Identify and propose innovative solutions and best practices to optimize client HCM processes.

Payroll Expertise:

- Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle HCM Payroll, understanding country-specific payroll regulations and best practices.

- Configure and troubleshoot all aspects of Oracle Payroll, including payroll processing, balance definitions, element setup, and reporting.

- Design and implement solutions for complex payroll scenarios and requirements.

- Stay up-to-date with Oracle Payroll updates, patches, and new functionalities.

Fast Formula Development & Maintenance:

- Design, develop, test, and implement complex Fast Formulas for various HCM modules, primarily Payroll.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fast Formulas in production and testing environments.

- Optimize Fast Formulas for performance and efficiency.

- Document Fast Formula logic and design.

Client Interaction & Communication:

- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.

- Lead and facilitate client workshops and requirements gathering sessions.

- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status, issues, and resolutions.

- Present solutions and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

- Collaborate effectively with other consultants, technical teams, and project managers.

- Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices.

- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and methodologies.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:

- Analyze and resolve complex functional and technical issues related to Oracle HCM.

- Develop and implement solutions to address identified issues and gaps.

- Work closely with Oracle Support to resolve critical issues.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Plan and execute various testing phases, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Develop and execute test scripts and scenarios.

- Identify and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.

Documentation & Training:

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and training materials.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for client users.

Qualifications:

- MBA degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle HCM solutions.

- Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Oracle HCM Cloud, with a strong focus on Payroll and Fast Formula.

- Deep understanding of Oracle Payroll processes, including payroll cycles, earnings, deductions, taxes, and reporting.

- Proven expertise in developing and troubleshooting complex Fast Formulas for various Payroll scenarios.

- Solid understanding of other Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, and Talent Management.

- Experience with data migration and integration related to Oracle HCM.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience working directly with clients and managing client relationships.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies.

- Oracle HCM Cloud certification is a plus.

- Experience with reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher is desirable.

- Prior experience working on projects for clients in the UAE and East African countries is an advantage
