Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Consultant with a strong focus on Talent Management and Data Migration. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS modules, particularly Talent Management, and have proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing HR solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data migration principles and tools, as well as the ability to customize and extend applications using various technologies.
Responsibilities:
Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS Module Expertise:
- Analyze, enhance, and optimize Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS modules, with a primary focus on Talent Management (Performance Management, Goal Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Learning).
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management modules.
System Design and Configuration:
- Design, configure, and implement system enhancements to improve HR operations and align with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional and technical specifications.
Development and Implementation:
- Develop, test, and deploy system modifications, reports, and integrations as per business needs.
- Customize and extend applications using OAF, Visual Builder, ADF, and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
Data Migration and Integration:
- Plan, execute, and support data migration activities using HDL (HCM Data Loader), PBL (Payroll Batch Loader), and Web Services.
- Design and implement integrations between Oracle HCM and other enterprise systems.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with Oracle HCM best practices, security roles, and HR policies.
- Stay updated on Oracle HCM updates and new features.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Troubleshoot and debug issues using SQL, PL/SQL, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and Fusion Cloud tools.
- Provide ongoing support for Oracle HCM users.
Upgrade and Patch Management:
- Support quarterly updates and apply patches as required.
Pre-Sales and Proposals:
- Engage in pre-sales activities, including requirement gathering and solution design.
- Prepare technical proposals and presentations.
Talent Management Focus:
- Deep dive into the Talent management modules, providing expert advice, and configure systems to meet client requirements.
- Work with clients to develop and implement talent strategies within the Oracle HCM environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ to 15 years of experience as an Oracle HCM Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud/EBS modules, with a focus on Talent Management.
- Proven experience in data migration and integration using HDL, PBL, and Web Services.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, OTBI, and Fusion Cloud tools.
- Experience in customizing and extending applications using OAF, Visual Builder, ADF, and OIC.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -
- Experience in presales activities.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in the UAE and East Africa, is a plus.
