- Our main offices are located in Mumbai (India) including small capabilities in Dubai (UAE) and Cluj Napoca (Romania) with extended sales and execution capabilities

- Position: Pre-sales and Business Development Research.

Support Analyst:

We are currently in the process of ramping up our Business Development (BD) efforts and are looking for a high-performer who can be part of a focused, tight-knit BD set-up that is led by senior management

- There will be a certain degree of focus on the Financial Services, Corporates and Consultancy verticals, given significant opportunities to learn industry structure and various offerings.

- The candidate will play a key role in the BD process and will be expected to execute a wide portfolio of tasks to support in targeting clients globally.

The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Help maintain our internally built lead database, including regular checking and update of prospect fields such as changes in location / company etc.

- Lead generation by building prospect lists using databases / LinkedIn / web-based information

- Track news / developments on key target accounts / prospects to identify opportunities for pitching Axience services

- Conduct email outreach campaigns to set up calls / meetings for the leadership team

- Set up meetings with prospects and manage meeting calendar

- Meeting preparation support - prepare information packs containing client background and bios, company background / service offerings, latest developments, among others

- Maintain, manage, update and disseminate various collateral including brochures, presentations, templates and others

- Identify relevant conferences for Axience to attend / participate in; assist in all preparation for the conference

Over time, potentially expand role and responsibilities to:

- Provide strategic input and ideas on improving pre-sales and BD processes

- Mentor and manage other team members

To be successful in this role, the individual will:

- Be required to quickly build an understanding of the various complex client segments and sub-segments that Axience services and how our offerings map on to each segment

- Need to be very responsive and prompt on tasks allocated

- Detail-oriented and meticulous in checking data / information

- Need to be resourceful and articulate with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

- Need to have strong spoken and written English skills

- Be flexible in putting in extra effort as and when required

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Proficiency in working on databases and, excellent MS Office and Excel skills

- Attention to detail and focus on quality

- Self-starters who can work without much supervision and generate consistently high-quality output

- Ability to survive in a fast paced environment and sometimes working on slightly vague instructions from clients and senior management

- Depending upon the performance, dedication and zeal of the candidate, fast trackers could be given exposure to a lot of opportunities as following (but not limited to):

- Be part of 'Axience Central' team reporting directly into senior management

- Execute ideas & run campaigns with business heads end-to-end: including identifying the right opportunities, negotiation, closure, execution & follow-up reports

- Working on RFP and proposals as well as research pilot projects for the clients

Requirements:

ONLY Mumbai-based candidates are eligible for this position

Minimum Bachelor's/master's degree with upper quartile academic performance across all levels of education

Experience in a pre-sales or related role in a B2B business - experience in working on European / US target markets will be highly preferred

While role is designed for those with upto 2 years of relevant experience, however, graduate and post-graduate freshers looking to build a career in strategy and business development may also apply

Any other qualities which clearly differentiates the candidate from others

For experienced professionals - Top 10% performer in their respective work experience

Relevant experience in pre-sales activity in KPO, IT services, B2B sales areas for experienced candidates would be preferred

Alternative background could be in sales / lead generation (business development) for top information service / database providers in financial services
