We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead and oversee high-impact projects across the operations and logistics verticals. This role demands a deep understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, hyperlocal logistics, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in project management, stakeholder management, and process optimization while driving scalable solutions and operational excellence at a network level.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Project Leadership:


- Define and lead strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the operational health of the ONDC network.

- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones across

multiple verticals.


- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable processes that align with business objectives and drive growth.


Process Governance & Optimization:


- Establish and maintain process governance frameworks to ensure smooth operations across the network.

- Lead process design, automation, and optimization initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and improve transaction-level performance.

- Continuously assess and refine logistics operations for different categories such as F&B, grocery, and retail.


Data-Driven Performance Management:


- Define, monitor, and analyze key operational KPIs to maintain healthy logistics operations for Buyers, Sellers, and LSPs on the network.

- Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, assess risks, and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with tech teams to integrate advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting systems for real-time performance tracking.


Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management:


- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including Network Participants (NPs), LSPs, and ecosystem partners.

- Serve as a liaison between business, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of network-level projects.

- Drive alignment across diverse stakeholders to ensure compliance, governance, and seamless onboarding processes.


Innovation & Problem Solving at Scale:


- Identify structural challenges in hyperlocal and national logistics operations and implement innovative, technology-driven solutions.

- Lead cross-functional teams to develop frameworks that can scale and adapt to evolving operational demands.

- Develop contingency plans and proactively mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted service and smooth functioning of the network.


Leadership, Reporting & Communication:


- Prepare and present high-level project updates, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

- Act as a thought leader, contributing to the continuous evolution of operational frameworks and best practices.


Experience & Skills:


- 6-8 years of experience in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain management, or operations.

- Proven expertise in leading large-scale, complex projects and cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of hyperlocal logistics models and e-commerce operations across multiple categories.

- Demonstrated ability to drive process design, automation, and process governance at an organizational level.

- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, performance monitoring, and visualization using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.

- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, MS Project, or Trello.

- Strong knowledge of technology frameworks and the ability to drive the integration of tech solutions in operational processes.


Preferred Skills:


- JIRA management is highly desirable.

- Prior experience in managing projects at a network-level platform or marketplace ecosystem.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable processes.
