ATIDIV - Senior Manager - US Tax

Job Title: Sr. Manager, US Taxation.

Job Location: Pune (Remote).

Job Summary: Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise. Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns.

Job Duties:

- Prepare, review, and file US corporate tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065, etc.) ensuring accuracy and full compliance with federal, state, and other business tax regulations.

- Interact, coordinate, and collaborate with all levels of the team to ensure timeliness and effective communication on an engagement.

- Oversee tax processes by coordinating day-to-day interactions with the team, reviewing engagement work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines for client deliverables, developing internal team members, and managing the functional efforts of such tax processes.

- Act as the primary liaison for US-based corporate clients ensuring strong client relationships.

- Keep updated with evolving US tax legislation and regulatory developments to proactively update and align internal practices.

Qualifications:

- 10-15 years of overall experience with at least 5 years specialized in US corporate tax preparation and filing.

- Prior experience of working in tax outsourcing firms based in India, directly serving US corporate clients.

Qualification:

- Professional certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) is mandatory.

- Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing tax operations from scratch, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Strong writing and verbal communication skills along with excel proficiency.

- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.

- Adept at client relationship management, and experience of interacting confidently with senior client stakeholders.

- Expert in tax filing software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect, etc.
