We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Analyst with 5-6 years of proven expertise in evaluating industry sectors and organizations for investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen to assess both listed and unlisted entities, develop robust investment strategies, and provide actionable insights to drive portfolio growth and diversification.
This role carries significant strategic importance, directly impacting the company's long-term positioning in the real estate and broader investment markets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis across multiple sectors to identify high-potential investment opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting investment strategy.
Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess performance and forecast growth of both public and private investments.
- Perform rigorous due diligence, incorporating financial, operational, and risk assessments.
- Prepare detailed investment theses and recommendations for senior management.
Portfolio Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track and evaluate performance metrics for existing investments.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to align investment decisions with Al Hamra Group's business objectives, especially within real estate.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating investment deals to secure favorable terms.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, advisors, and industry experts to explore and enhance opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (listed & unlisted entities).
- Proven ability in market research, competitive analysis, and sector evaluation.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, translating data into strategic insights.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with strong presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of investment principles, portfolio management, and risk assessment methods.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in deal structuring.
- Proficiency in financial software, databases, and analytical tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master's/CFA preferred).
- 5-6 years' experience in investment analysis, private equity, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Exposure to family office investments is an advantage.
