Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Investment Banking Analyst to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A transactions, debt, and equity fundraising, with a passion for advising ambitious companies. You will support founders in executing deals, developing financial models, and engaging directly with clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Develop and maintain robust financial models, perform valuation analyses (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
- Deal Execution & Support: Assist in structuring and executing buyside and sellside M&A deals,
capital raises, and strategic financings.
- Preparation of Pitch & Marketing Materials: Prepare pitch books, CIMs, investor presentations, and offering memoranda.
- Due Diligence & Market Research: Conduct industry research, assess market conditions, and perform competitive analysis.
- Investor & Client Interaction: Support meetings with clients, investors, and target companies;
assist in negotiations and deal closing.
- Transaction Coordination: Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisory teams to ensure smooth deal processes.
- Transaction Monitoring & Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards; maintain accurate transaction documentation.
- Internal Support: Assist senior founders with deal tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields; CFA or MBA is a must.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity, preferably with exposure to middle-market deals.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience in valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare compelling presentations and reports.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team player with a client-focused attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in debt syndication or equity raising for middle-market clients.
- Knowledge of industry-specific dynamics and regulatory considerations.
- Familiarity with financial data platforms like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or Preqin.
