Job Overview
As a Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining high business standards, ensuring compliance, and strategically managing our budget to support company objectives. Your ability to lead, analyze, and improve processes will be key to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational System Development & Management: Design, implement, and continuously refine operational systems and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability across all business units.
Standard Setting & Adherence: Develop, uphold, and enforce rigorous business standards related to accuracy, productivity, reliability, and quality in all operational aspects.
Daily Operations Oversight: Oversee and manage the day-to-day business operations, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and timely achievement of operational goals.
Performance Analysis & Improvement: Conduct regular (e.g., annual) performance reviews of operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic reassessments and optimizations.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory, compliance, and legal standards, mitigating operational risks effectively.
Budget Management: Manage the operational budget, allocating resources efficiently and strategically to align with overarching business objectives and financial targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaborative relationships with various business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance) to ensure seamless inter-departmental operations and alignment.
Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a similar Business Operations, Operations Management, or related leadership role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. An MBA is highly preferred.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience in team management, project leadership, or leading operational initiatives.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential. Experience with operational management software or ERP systems is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex operational concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Adaptability: Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
Collaboration: Comfort and capability in collaborating effectively with various business units and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
