About the Role:


- We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to join our Sales team at Assurant India.


- The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by managing and developing relationships with OEM Dealers within the assigned territory. The primary focus will be to improve product penetration, strengthen dealer relationships, and achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:


- Act as the first point of contact for all queries and business communications from assigned OEM Dealers.


- Strategically drive product sales through OEM dealerships in the designated territory and consistently work towards increasing product penetration rates.


- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders at dealerships, including Sales, Service, Warranty, Accounts Teams, and OEM Field Teams.


- Regularly engage with Dealer Principals to explore new business development opportunities.


- Monitor and analyze dealership performance, including dealer sales team-wise attachment ratios, to identify improvement areas.


- Conduct training, motivation, and alignment sessions for dealership staff to promote product awareness and improve sales effectiveness.


- Manage and monitor Receivables & Payables for the assigned dealerships, ensuring timely collections and reconciliations.


- Contribute towards the continuous improvement of business processes by identifying operational gaps and proposing effective solutions.


- Perform regular field visits and maintain a consistent presence at dealerships to foster relationships and address operational challenges.


Required Qualifications & Skills:


Education: MBA will be preferred.


Experience:


- 4-6 years of experience in Client and Dealer Management, preferably within the OEM Motor Dealership industry.

- Excellent Client Relationship Management


- Good knowledge of OEMs Motor Dealership Business Operations


- Proficiency in data-driven analysis and reporting


- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
