Job Title: Associate Vice President / Manager PMS.

Department: Human Resources.

Location: Corporate Office, Mumbai.

Reporting To: Vice President PMS & C&B.

Grade/Level: M5L1 / M6L2.

Geography Managed: Pan India.

Experience Required: 8-12 years in PMS/HRBP (preferably in BFSI sector).

Platform Experience (Preferred): Darwinbox.

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of the Performance Management System (PMS) across the organization.
The incumbent will align PMS practices with strategic business objectives while ensuring timely execution of appraisals, promotions, and related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management System (PMS):


- Drive the complete performance appraisal lifecycle (goal setting, mid-year review, final appraisals) for Regional employees.

- Ensure alignment of balanced scorecards with Marketing and Operations functions.

- Coordinate with teams to meet deadlines and maintain consistency across regions.

Promotions & Actuarial Increments:

- Lead the de-centralized and fast-track promotion processes in collaboration with regional HR.

- Handle actuarial exam-linked increments and ensure timely communication and system updates.

System & Process Readiness:

- Ensure systems (like Darwinbox) are ready for each PMS cycle stage.

- Collect and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance usability and efficiency.

Process Improvement & Best Practices:

- Benchmark and implement market-leading PMS practices.

- Collaborate with senior HR leadership to design and roll out process enhancements and special projects.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with leadership, business managers, and cross-functional HR teams to ensure transparent communication and smooth process execution.

- Prepare and present periodic PMS performance reports and dashboards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:


- Graduation (mandatory).

- MBA/PG in HR (preferred).

Experience:

- 8-12 years in HR roles with strong exposure to performance management.

- Preferably in BFSI or similarly complex industry environments.

- Cross-functional HR experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of insurance fundamentals and industry-specific practices.

- Strong command of MS Office and HRIS systems (Darwin box preferred).

- Proficiency in HR analytics and digital HR tools.
