Associate Vice President - Cloud Architect - Managed Services

Our client is a well known brand in InsurTech space with over 5000 HC globally .

Role - AVP - Cloud and Managed Service

Core deliverables:

- Should hold expertise in executing large and complex projects preferably in Insurance space .

- Expertise in presales with experience in providing Technical engagement , architecture , solution consulting and design for clients.

- Should be able to demonstrate a high-level of planning , implementation , migration experience for deploying end to end solution for clients

- Expertise in cloud migration ( either Azure/ Aws ) in IAAS AND PAAS is a must.

- Focused on cloud migration, deployment, implementation, defining the scope , coordination with business stake holders

- Technical expertise in preparing ( presales )proposal for cloud & managed services is a must for the role.

- Technical expertise in any one programming language ( .NET/ JAVA/ PYTHON ) is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop end-to-end architectural solutions that align with business and technology strategies.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and IT teams, to translate requirements into technical designs.

- Assess existing systems and recommend improvements or modernizations.

- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance best practices.

- Lead the selection of appropriate tools, technologies, and frameworks.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

- Create architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and best practices.

- Evaluate and integrate third-party software, APIs, and cloud services.

- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 12+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or IT consulting.

- Proven experience designing cloud-based and on-premise architectures.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architectures.

. Exp in IAAS, PAAS or any managed services is must

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript.

- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of security, networking, and database technologies.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus.
