A leading law firm is looking to hire an Associate with 3-5 years of experience in Labour & Employment Law for its Mumbai office.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be part of a well-established practice, advising a diverse set of clients on both contentious and advisory labour matters, including compliance, investigations, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on labour law compliance under Indian statutes (ID Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA, etc.)
- Drafting employment agreements, HR policies, termination letters, and settlement documents
- Handling employment-related litigation including matters before labour courts and tribunals
- Supporting internal investigations and disciplinary proceedings
- Staying abreast of labour law developments and providing regulatory updates to clients
Candidate Profile:
1. 3-5 years of experience in employment/labour law advisory and litigation
2. Familiarity with key labour regulations and employer obligations
3. Strong legal research, drafting, and client communication skills
4. Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
