About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AGM Procurement professional to join our Commercial Interiors Division. This role demands strategic procurement leadership, vendor management, and material cost optimization across high-end projects throughout India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost-effective procurement strategies for planning, budgeting, purchasing, and scheduling materials for interior projects
- Review BOQs, evaluate purchase orders (POs), bills, and vendor contracts
- Handle procurement of materials including woodwork, tiles, paints, MEP, ceilings, hardware, etc.
- Benchmark material costs across pan-India markets
- Collaborate with internal teams for procurement execution
- Guide and mentor the procurement team through new processes and policies
- Build a centralized procurement framework with standardized procedures
- Lead vendor and contractor management across India
- Identify and onboard new vendors/contractors for civil and fit-out works
- Maintain procurement records and generate detailed cost reports
- Implement zero-based costing and benchmarking systems
- Manage purchase orders, bid processes, and resolve invoice discrepancies
Candidate Requirements
Education: B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical field
Experience: Minimum 12 years in Civil, Interior, and MEP Procurement
Project Types: Extensive experience in Retail, Hospitality, and Commercial interior fit-outs
- Must have worked on the vendor side
- Proficient in material specifications, sourcing, and cost analysis
- Strong negotiation and vendor development skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines independently
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical thinking
