Associate Director - Tangible Valuation

Job Purpose:


To lead valuation assignments of tangible assets, manage client relationships, and drive business development for the branch. The role requires both technical expertise in valuations and leadership skills to manage the team, ensure quality deliverables, and grow the practice.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead the inspection and valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, and specialized assets.

- Conduct and review detailed feasibility studies, TEV reports, and technical due diligence assignments.

- Design and review valuation models including DCF, construction cost models, and income based analysis.

- Oversee project status reporting for under-construction projects and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Address client and auditor queries independently with technical and commercial clarity.

- Ensure compliance with valuation standards and internal quality benchmarks.

- Act as the main point of contact for clients; maintain and nurture client relationships.

- Identify and pursue business opportunities through networking, industry connects, and referrals.

- Develop proposals, presentations, and pitch documents for new business.

- Lead, mentor, and guide junior team members; build team capabilities.

- Represent the firm at industry forums, seminars, and client meetings.

- Contribute to overall branch profitability through effective project delivery and business generation.


Qualifications & Skills:


- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Engineering; professional qualifications (CA, CFA, RICS, or similar) preferred.

- IBBI Registered Valuer is preferred

- 812 years of relevant experience in tangible asset valuation, technical due diligence, or financial advisory.

- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies (cost, market, and income approach).

- Proven experience in managing large assignments and client relationships.

- Excellent business development, networking, and communication skills.

- Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with data sources like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
