A client of Stellar Talent HR Consultancy is hiring for a senior leadership role in the IoT and Smart City domain.

The company delivers advanced technology-enabled solutions for public infrastructure, utilities, and enterprise operations.

This role is critical to ensuring seamless customer delivery, process innovation, and strategic growth in the Southern region.

Role Overview:

The Associate Director - Operations & Delivery (South) will support the Head of Operations in achieving key operational targets, fulfilling customer commitments, enhancing delivery processes, and building strong customer relationships.

The role also includes coaching and developing teams, improving operational profitability, and contributing to business expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain strong working relationships with key customer stakeholders to plan and execute deliverables effectively

- Ensure regular engagement with customers to support smooth execution and timely invoice clearance

- Promote and communicate internal initiatives related to new solution development and present relevant use cases to customers as part of account mining efforts

- Evaluate on-ground implementation of engineering initiatives in collaboration with Assistant Managers

- Regularly assess conformance to operational processes and suggest modifications aimed at improving delivery efficiency

- Train Assistant Managers and Field Executives on core operational skills including reporting, customer engagement, and generating standardized MIS reports

- Propose changes to existing processes in line with customer requirements or internal delivery efficiency goals

- Prepare delivery budgets and monitor actuals against budgeted figures to identify variances

- Create customer-specific MIS reports to aid management decision-making

- Review customer-wise profitability and lead at least two initiatives per quarter focused on - improving operational effectiveness

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (BE) or Diploma in EEE, ECE, or Mechatronics

- 10+ years of relevant experience in operations, delivery management, and customer-facing roles

- Strong communication skills, with proven ability to interact with customers at senior levels

- Demonstrated experience in team building, people development, and performance management

- Experience in sales or account mining is desirable
