Role Overview

A leading business school is seeking a results-driven professional to lead inside sales and business development for its Open and Advanced Management Programmes (AMP). The role demands a seasoned sales leader with strong experience in fintech or allied industries, capable of driving revenue growth, improving lead-to-enrollment conversions, and building long-term client relationships across both B2B and B2C segments.

This position combines strategic planning, digital sales, and people leadership with deep market understanding to strengthen the schools executive education portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

- Lead inside sales efforts for Open & AMP programmes, ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved.

- Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, consultative selling, and closure.

- Build and grow strong pipelines in both corporate (B2B) and individual (B2C) markets.

2. Fintech Market Focus

- Leverage knowledge of fintech and BFSI industries to identify prospects, decision-makers, and partnerships.

- Position programmes as high-value learning solutions tailored to executives in emerging financial sectors.

3. Lead Generation & CRM Management

- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive qualified leads through digital campaigns.

- Optimize the Salesforce CRM funnel for effective tracking, nurturing, and conversion.

- Monitor conversion ratios and implement initiatives to boost enrollment.

4. Strategic Planning & Forecasting

- Create quarterly and annual sales plans with clear growth targets.

- Provide accurate forecasts and market insights to leadership.

- Contribute to pricing, go-to-market strategies, and new channel development.

5. Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor a team of inside sales professionals.

- Train the team on fintech domain trends, consultative sales techniques, and CRM best practices.

- Ensure alignment with programme management, marketing, and finance teams.

Candidate Profile

- Education: MBA or equivalent (Marketing/Finance/Sales preferred).

- Experience: 15+ years in inside sales / business development, with at least 5-7 years in fintech, BFSI, or edtech sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

- Proven ability to achieve sales targets in B2B/B2C environments.

- Strong understanding of fintech industry dynamics.

- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and digital lead management.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Leadership experience in managing and scaling inside sales teams.
