Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Investor Relations & Strategic Finance

A leading player in the financial services industry is seeking a dynamic professional to lead its Investor Relations and Strategic Finance agenda. Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Analyst Engagement

- Lead quarterly earnings call preparations, including investor presentations and competitive benchmarking.

- Craft compelling narratives to attract and retain investor interest; ensure data integrity through robust internal controls.

- Collaborate with actuarial and finance teams to deliver accurate financial disclosures and support leadership with FAQs, transcripts, and briefing packs.

- Drive alignment in analyst recommendations through proactive engagement and strategic influence.

- Design and execute investor outreach programs, including global roadshows and 1:1 meetings with institutional investors.

- Represent the organization at key brokerage-led conferences.

Strategic Projects & Capital Initiatives

- Support capital raise initiatives (debt and equity), including valuation modeling and due diligence coordination.

- Lead planning efforts for IFRS implementation and GenAI-driven transformation projects.

- Conduct periodic DCF valuations and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Regulatory Change Management

- Assess impact of evolving regulations on FP&A and finance operations (e.g., expense management, commission guidelines).

- Draft board-level policy documents and coordinate cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

- Establish governance subcommittees and drive periodic reviews and compliance tracking.

- Cascade regulatory actions across distribution channels and manage partner communications.

Channel Finance & Commercial Strategy

- Act as FP&A liaison for key partnership channels including bancassurance, group credit life, annuity, protection, and ecommerce.

- Own end-to-end financial planning across channels covering revenue, opex, product mix, headcount, incentives, and margins.

- Lead commercial negotiations and ensure long-term partner alignment.

- Drive governance rhythms and course corrections to ensure channel performance against plan.

Product Pricing & Portfolio Optimization

- Partner with product teams to shape pricing strategies for new launches and repricing initiatives.

- Balance stakeholder interests shareholders, distributors, and policyholders through data-driven pricing decisions.

- Monitor product outcomes and initiate corrective actions to optimize profitability and market relevance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 814 years of experience in investor relations, FP&A, or strategic finance within BFSI.

- Strong analytical acumen with a flair for storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

- Proven ability to manage complex regulatory environments and cross-functional initiatives.

- Exposure to capital markets, valuation, and product pricing is highly desirable.
