Role Overview:

The AVP Strategic Alliances will be responsible for driving business development, managing key partnerships, and expanding the VAS portfolio. This includes developing and scaling extended warranty programs, protection plans, and new value propositions across NBFCs, e-commerce platforms, OEMs, and other strategic channels.

The role demands a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and execution excellence to achieve rapid business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Partnerships:


- Identify, acquire, and nurture partnerships with NBFCs, e-commerce players, OEMs, fintechs, and large consumer brands.

- Lead commercial negotiations, partnership models, and go-to-market strategies.

- Develop new revenue channels by co-creating value propositions with strategic partners.


Strategic Alliance Management:

- Build strong CXO-level and stakeholder relationships to drive long-term business collaboration.

- Manage onboarding, integration, and execution of partners for warranty, insurance, and other VAS offerings.

- Ensure alignment of alliance objectives with business growth targets.


Product & Solution Development:


- Work with internal product and technology teams to design and launch customized extended warranty and AMC solutions.


- Identify emerging opportunities such as device protection, buyback plans, and subscription-based assurance models.


Sales Growth & Revenue Management:

- Drive sales performance through structured account planning, upselling, and cross-selling within partner ecosystems.

- Deliver defined revenue and profitability targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

- Track KPIs and provide insights for continuous improvement.


Market & Competitive Intelligence:

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory frameworks.

- Share actionable insights with leadership to refine business strategies.


Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise sales.

- Proven ability to scale accounts and drive exponential growth through structured relationship management.

- Experience in financial services (NBFC, bank partnerships), e-commerce, or OEM ecosystem preferred.

- Deep understanding of VAS products such as extended warranties, device protection, AMCs, and insurance-linked solutions.

- Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure innovative partnership models.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.


Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA / Postgraduate preferred.

- 1015 years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or key account management.

- Demonstrated success in working with NBFCs, banks, e-commerce players, OEMs, or fintechs.

- Track record of driving measurable sales growth (e.g., 34X growth in partnerships, high-volume customer engagement).
