- The AVP - Planning & Regulatory will be responsible for managing all statutory, licensing, and compliance matters across Haryana and Punjab.


- The role requires an in-depth understanding of government regulations, Acts, policies, and approval processes, with the ability to liaise effectively with government authorities. A critical aspect of this role is drafting precise and persuasive correspondence with government departments and ensuring timely approvals, compliance, and renewals of all statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Licensing & Compliance Management:

- Manage and oversee end-to-end licensing, approvals, and compliance processes in Haryana and Punjab.

- Stay updated with the latest policies, Acts, and amendments impacting the organization's operations.

- Ensure timely renewal and compliance with all applicable licenses and permits.

Government Liaison & Documentation:

- Draft, review, and finalize letters, representations, and applications to various government departments and regulatory authorities. (This is a critical and essential requirement).

- Maintain strong professional relationships with government officials, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth approvals and clearances.

Financial & Regulatory Calculations:

- Prepare, validate, and monitor calculations related to government fees, charges, premiums, and statutory payments.

- Ensure accurate management of bank guarantees and related compliance obligations.

Policy & Act Knowledge:

- Interpret and apply various Acts, rules, policies, and government notifications relevant to Haryana and Punjab.

- Provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on regulatory risks, obligations, and compliance strategies.

Strategic Planning & Coordination:

- Drive the planning and execution of all regulatory submissions within defined timelines.

- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, projects, operations) to ensure alignment and compliance.

- Proactively identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements:

- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law / Urban Planning / Engineering / or related field.

- Experience: Minimum 20 years of proven expertise in licensing, approvals, and compliance in Haryana and Punjab.

Core Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, Acts, and policies in the region.

- Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality official communications for government submissions.

- Expertise in calculating government fees, charges, and managing bank guarantees.

- Ability to handle multiple regulatory processes simultaneously with high accuracy.

- Strong liaison skills with government and statutory authorities.

- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
