
This role is responsible to lead the development, enhancement and maintenance of the Loan Management System.
Also, to drive the end- to- end technology strategy to streamline loan origination, processing, servicing and reporting, ensuring high performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the Loan Management System, leveraging Java for application logic and PL/SQL for database programming Oversee end- to- end LMS functionality, including loan origination, underwriting, disbursal, servicing, collections and reporting Collaborate with business analysts, risk and compliance teams to translate loan processing requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage database design, performance tuning, stored procedures, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Ensure system scalability, data integrity and security compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Supervise the integration of the LMS with third- party systems such as credit bureaus, payment gateways, CRM and accounting platforms Drive continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades aligned with business needs.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Prepare technical documentation and reporting for senior management and auditors.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Experience: 20+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on loan or financial systems.
Functional Competencies
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring framework preferred) and PL/SQL.
- Experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or similar.
- Proven experience leading a development team and managing complex projects.
- Solid understanding of loan products, lending lifecycle, credit risk, and compliance.
- Hands- on experience with APIs, middleware, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git).
