Job Role: Assistant Vice President- Internal Audit- Overseas and Gift City Audit
Location: Mumbai
Job Description :
The team member is responsible for conduction comprehensive audits for Overseas Branches and Representative offices ensuring adherence to audit plans, leveraging data analytics for audit efficiency, and maintaining high-quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
In this role the team member will be responsible for following areas and activities for management of Overseas Branches and Representative offices Audit for the Bank :
- Audit planning, Risk Assessments
- Leverage data analytic to increase the efficiency and efficacy of the Audits.
- Timely commencement and closure of audits as per the audit plan
- Preparation and submission of audit reports/synopsis within stipulated time frame.
- Ensuring quality of audit reports, correctness / consistency of data furnished, emphasis on Policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices and people, revenue assurance, risk coverage
- Carrying out other assignments such as review of processes, thematic audits, checklists and special audits, investigations as and when required.
- Coordination with the concurrent auditors and the internal auditors for effective monitoring and ensuring quality of concurrent audit reports.
- Aggregation of common findings and advising the same to the Controllers along with recommendations for corrective action and tracking implementation.
Qualifications :
- Relevant experience in conducting audit of overseas branches /Corporate Credit Sanction/Operation/ Credit Audit
- Related certifications ( CA/CISA/CIA or similar ) preferred
Role Proficiencies:
- Knowledge of Overseas Branch functions Policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices and people, revenue assurance, risk coverage
- Ability to carry out assignments such as review of processes, thematic audits, checklists and special audits, investigations as and when required.
- Ability to ensure Timely commencement and closure of audits
- Good communication (both verbal & written) and inter-personal skills
- Strong tecno functional skills, proficiency in excel and database management skills, financial and statistical analysis skills
- Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
