Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and results-driven Marketing and Communication lead with a primary focus on Marketing (70%) and Communication (30%), particularly Outreach, Public Relations (PR), and Online Reputation Management (ORM).
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of RBI and SEBI regulations and will have prior experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for creating compelling marketing campaigns, building strong brand presence, and ensuring the company's image is effectively communicated across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution (70%):
- Develop and Implement Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across digital and traditional channels.
- Brand Strategy & Positioning: Lead the development of brand messaging, positioning, and differentiation strategies in line with company objectives and industry trends.
- Digital Marketing: Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Content Strategy: Oversee the creation and curation of engaging content across various digital platforms to ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and new opportunities for growth.
- Lead Generation: Design and implement strategies to drive lead generation, leveraging both inbound and outbound marketing tactics.
- Campaign Analytics & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics, adjusting strategies for optimal performance.
Communication & Outreach (30%):
- Public Relations (PR): Develop and execute PR strategies that align with the company's marketing goals, ensuring positive media coverage and strengthening relationships with key media contacts.
- Content Creation for Outreach: Write and distribute press releases, media kits, articles, and blog posts. Coordinate interviews and spokesperson opportunities with media.
- Influencer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration and positive visibility.
- Online Reputation Management (ORM): Oversee the company's online presence and reputation, monitoring social media platforms, forums, and other online channels for brand mentions and respond to both positive and negative feedback in a timely manner.
- Crisis Communication: Manage communication during a PR crisis, including developing responses and communicating with stakeholders in a clear and consistent manner.
Compliance with RBI & SEBI Regulations:
- Ensure all marketing and communication initiatives are fully compliant with RBI and SEBI regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to review marketing materials and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations and incorporate necessary adjustments into marketing and PR activities.
Branding and Customer Experience:
- Strengthen brand equity by maintaining consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer service) to ensure marketing materials and messaging align with the company's overall goals.
- Analyse customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to fine-tune marketing campaigns and improve the customer journey.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and campaigns.
- Track ROI on marketing spend and optimize budget allocation to maximize impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Marketing and Communication, with significant exposure to PR, Online Reputation Management, and BFSI industry experience preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital marketing and content marketing.
- Solid understanding of RBI and SEBI regulations, with the ability to ensure all marketing and communications strategies are compliant.
Knowledge & Expertise:
- Expertise in developing integrated marketing strategies with a mix of digital, content, PR, and traditional marketing tactics.
- Strong knowledge of public relations, media relations, and crisis communication.
- Proficient in ORM tools and platforms to monitor and manage the brands reputation online.
- A deep understanding of BFSI sector-specific marketing and communication practices.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the performance of marketing campaigns and optimize efforts.
- Track record of managing digital creative agencies and PR agencies.
- Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Digital Marketing or Public Relations are advantageous.
