Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join our team in Andheri, Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory control, logistics, vendor coordination, and demand planning to ensure timely availability of materials and optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and managing procurement activities for raw materials, packaging materials, and other inventory.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to avoid shortages or excess.

- Ensure timely order processing, dispatches, and delivery tracking with logistics partners.

- Work closely with vendors and suppliers for negotiations, order placement, and performance evaluation.

- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, GRNs, purchase orders, and invoices.

- Coordinate with finance and quality departments for invoice clearance and compliance.

- Generate reports on supply chain KPIs such as lead times, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.

- Assist in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the SCM function.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/PGDM preferred.

- 4-6 years of experience in supply chain/logistics/procurement, preferably in a pharma or manufacturing setup.

- Good understanding of inventory management, procurement systems, and logistics operations.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
