Assistant Manager - Statutory Audit

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join our assurance team. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Audit Planning & Execution

- Plan and schedule statutory audit assignments efficiently

- Independently execute and finalize statutory audits, including group reporting requirements

- Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards throughout the audit lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and motivate audit teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

- Conduct internal training sessions to enhance team capabilities

- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.

Client Engagement

- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for client communications

- Liaise with clients and their overseas counterparts as needed

- Manage client relationships, including billing, recovery, and service satisfaction.

Methodology & Coordination

- Apply the firm's audit methodology and best practices consistently

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the firm for integrated service delivery

- Take ownership of client portfolios and ensure seamless execution across engagements.

Additional Responsibilities

- Possess working knowledge of internal audit procedures

- Demonstrate flexibility to work on non-standard assurance engagements

- Be comfortable with travel to various client locations as required
