Key Responsibilities:
- To achieve assigned DG sets/Genset/Silent generators sales targets in units & value in the
assigned areas.
- To create awareness about GCL DG sets/Genset/Silent generators in assigned areas across all
business segments.
- To ensure good presales, during sales & post sales response to keep customers delighted with GCL services.
- Regional sales experience preferably in DG sets/Genset/Silent generators industry in relevant region will be essential.
Key Skills & Keywords:
- Sales & Business Development: B2B sales, retail sales, territory management, key account management, channel/partner management, dealer development, tendering & quotations, bid management.
- Technical & Service: installation, commissioning, preventive & breakdown maintenance, warranty support, spare parts, service contracts, field troubleshooting.
- Commercial & Process: pricing, margin management, contract negotiation, after-sales service, SOW, service level agreements (SLAs), project coordination with EPC/contractors.
- Tools & Systems: CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, MS Dynamics), MS Office, ERP familiarity, sales analytics, lead generation tools.
- Soft Skills: strong communication & presentation, negotiation, relationship building, customer-centric approach, target-driven, self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team.
- Segments & Customers: industrial, commercial, retail, data centers, hospitals, telecom towers, manufacturing, construction, government & infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Details:
- 3-7 years of proven sales experience in DG sets/genset/silent generator industry, with regional
sales exposure.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
