Assistant Manager - HR Business Partner - Pharma

The role requires strong HR business partnering expertise with exposure to managing both domestic (India) and international employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR initiatives, aligning people strategy with business objectives, and ensuring a seamless employee experience across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance on people-related matters.

- Manage end-to-end HRBP activities for Indian workforce as well as employees based in international locations.

- Partner with leadership to understand talent needs and design workforce strategies accordingly.

- Drive performance management, employee engagement, career development, and retention initiatives.

- Provide support in handling cross-cultural employee issues and global HR processes.

- Work closely with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, C&B) to deliver integrated HR solutions.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, labor laws, and company policies across India and other countries.

- Facilitate effective onboarding and induction for international assignees/employees.

- Collaborate with global HR teams to standardize best practices and maintain cultural sensitivity.

- Partner with leadership to manage organizational change and communication.

Key Requirements:

- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

- 5-9 years of progressive HR experience in an HRBP role.

- Experience in managing HR responsibilities for Indian employees and employees of other geographies (preferred regions: APAC, Europe, or Middle East).

- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance across multiple regions.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

- Exposure to the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry will be an added advantage.
