Assistant Manager - Digital Marketing

About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Assistant Manager - Digital Marketing to join our team in Bengaluru.
- This is a crucial role focused on the day-to-day management and oversight of our digital marketing resources, ensuring seamless execution and consistent performance.
- You will be instrumental in mentoring team members and optimizing our digital marketing workflows to support our global goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team & Resource Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the digital marketing team, managing work schedules, time-off - requests, and resource allocation.
- Actively monitor and assess individual and team performance against key KPIs, providing regular feedback to leadership.
- Lead with empathy and a solution-oriented mindset, proactively addressing conflicts and mitigating attrition risks.
Performance & Skill Development:
- Coordinate with team members to ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with standard practices and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide regular feedback to support management in skill assessment and identifying career growth opportunities for team members.
- Contribute to performance reviews by providing insights on individual misses, errors, and training needs.
Process & Knowledge Management:
- Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of each Digital Team's capabilities, workflows, and brand guidelines to ensure accurate oversight and output.
- Keep yourself and the team updated on the latest industry best practices in digital marketing.
- Ensure the entire team works together as a cohesive unit to support the global Digital Team's goals and values.
Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership.
- Ensure professional and conversational fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 4 years in a team management capacity.
Education: MBA or equivalent in Marketing.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of key digital marketing areas, including Marketing Automation, Web, Social Media, and Digital Experience.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools like Content Management Systems, Salesforce (Automation/CRM), web analytics, and social media platforms.
- Strong mentorship and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
