Key Responsibilities :

- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable including vendor payments, reconciliations, collections, and credit control.

- Oversee bookkeeping and ledger management, ensuring accuracy in journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.

- Ensure taxation and statutory compliance, including VAT, WHT, and timely filing of returns.

- Handle purchase order processing and maintain accurate procurement records.

- Optimize financial and procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure cost control and adherence to company policies.

- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations.

- Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring service quality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, suppliers, and auditors) to support business objectives.

- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in line with reporting requirements.

- Prepare and analyze financial and procurement reports for management decision-making.

- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations.

- Assist the Accounts & Procurement Manager in strategic planning, reporting, and special projects.

Qualifications & Competencies :

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or related field (Accounting/Finance/Procurement).

- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or CIPS) will be an added advantage.

- 5- 7 years of proven experience in accounts and procurement functions, preferably in a busy corporate or manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Excellent financial analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
