Job Description- Assistant Accounts & Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
ERP & System Management:
- Oversee finance and accounting modules in the ERP system and ensure seamless integration with other business functions.
- Work closely with the IT and ERP teams to optimize financial workflows within the software.
- Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot financial discrepancies in the ERP system.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory tax compliances.
- Support in internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with
regulations.
Cost Control & Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flows and working capital to ensure financial stability.
- Implement cost control measures and financial discipline across departments.
- Conduct financial risk analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Stakeholder Coordination & Team Management:
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies for financial operations.
- Support the finance team in streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MBA (Finance) / M.Com
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the IT/software/ERP industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with ERP-based accounting systems
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
