The Lead CSR and Sustainability will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive CSR and sustainability strategies that align with India's business objectives and contribute to positive social and environmental impact. This role will oversee existing flagship programs while identifying new opportunities for community engagement and sustainable business practices. This role will also oversee support operations across facility management, security, government liaison, compliance, and general administration
Strategic Leadership & Program Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR and sustainability strategy aligned with India's business goals and global sustainability commitments
- Launch innovative community programs focusing on education, skill development, and women empowerment.
- Manage CSR budget allocation and expenditure tracking
- Establish sustainability targets and KPIs for environmental impact reduction across manufacturing and retail operations
- Integrate CSR considerations into business planning and decision-making processes
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Board CSR Committee and senior management
- Establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks for all CSR programs
- Maintain transparent documentation and impact assessment processes
Community Engagement & Social Impact
- Manage partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and community organizations
- Oversee education-focused initiatives including school adoption programs near manufacturing facilities.
- Develop programs addressing healthcare, sanitation, and infrastructure needs in local communities
- Design and implement employee volunteer programs and workplace giving initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry associations
- Engage with customers, employees, investors, and community stakeholders on CSR and sustainability initiatives
- Manage CSR communication strategy including annual reporting, digital platforms, and media engagement
- Conduct comprehensive workplace hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Develop and implement workplace safety policies, SOPs, and conduct mandatory safety training programs for all employees. Establish safety committees as per statutory requirements and ensure 100% compliance.
- Establish emergency response procedures, conduct regular drills, and maintain first aid capabilities
Administrative Management & Operations
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes for CSR initiatives
- Coordinate logistics for community events, program launches, and stakeholder meetings
- Maintain comprehensive program databases, documentation systems, and filing protocols
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate with finance team for budget management

- Excellent stakeholder management and partnership development skills
- Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages preferred)
