Responsibilities:
- Supervise the cell formation and aging processes, ensuring they're in line with established protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate advancements and refinements into the formation process, ensuring optimal cell performance.
- Monitor and optimize the formation and grading equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and precision.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing process efficiency, yield, and overall product quality.
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly adhered to, minimizing risks in the high-voltage formation process.
- Coordinate with preceding (assembly) and succeeding (testing and packaging) departments to ensure seamless production flow.
- Mentor, guide, and lead the formation team, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and innovation.
- Periodically review and analyze formation data, detecting trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets related to the formation phase, ensuring cost-effectiveness and justifying investments when necessary.
- Engage with equipment suppliers and vendors, staying updated with technological advancements and ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades.
