Assistance Vice President - Finance
We at Trans Management Consultant are hiring for the role of Financial Controller at Gift City.
About Client:
Our Client, one of the world's leading financial institutions, is looking for a highly skilled Assistant Vice President - Finance to join their GIFT City branch. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their financial management function and support key regulatory and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the branch.
- Ensure timely financial reporting as per IFRS, JGAAP, and USGAAP standards.
- Support accounts payable, FP&A (budgeting, variance analysis) and internal controls.
- Prepare and submit reports to IFSCA, SEZ and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage tax-related reporting, compliance, and filings.
- Coordinate statutory & tax audits and ensure certifications.
- Partner with stakeholders to support new product assessments & rollouts.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing meaningful insights to internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- CA qualification is mandatory.
- 8-10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, IFRS, treasury & regulatory platforms.
- Ability to manage auditors, consultants, and stakeholders independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
