We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and expand our precious metal recycling business in the Western region of India, based in Mumbai. Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development and Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company's market share in the precious metal recycling sector within Western India.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging market research and competitive analysis.
- Establish and expand the company's presence in key markets within the region.
Partnership Development and Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships with jewellery partners, bullion dealers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure regular business collaborations and maintain excellent relationships to drive consistent business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Sales and Relationship Management:
- Drive sales initiatives and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to close deals and build rapport with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring seamless business transactions.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize sales strategies.
Operational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth processing and timely delivery of recycled precious metals.
- Provide feedback from clients to help improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably within the precious metal, jewellery, or related industry.
