About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations for microscopes within the assigned region. The role involves driving business growth by developing relationships with Pathology Labs, Diagnostic Centers, Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Universities, Agricultural Labs, FSL, and Industrial sectors, while ensuring consistent revenue and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive sales growth for microscopes in the assigned region through direct sales and relationship building.

- Identify and explore new business opportunities in both government and private institutions.

- Schedule and attend appointments with doctors, hospital staff, and decision-makers through outreach and networking.

- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for growth and productivity.

- Implement sales and marketing strategies as directed by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) or National Sales Manager (NSM).

- Submit daily reports on activities, leads, and customer interactions.

- Manage area sales operations, including payment collection, handling customer complaints, and hospital/doctor visits.

- Analyze regional market potential, track competitor activity, and monitor sales performance.

- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and repeat business.

- Stay updated on product features, functionalities, and troubleshooting for effective customer support.

- Prepare and submit weekly performance reports to management.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Science, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Business/Marketing.

- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical equipment, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.

- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage area sales operations, and travel frequently.

- Familiarity with medical equipment, diagnostic tools, or laboratory solutions will be a strong advantage.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
