Job Description:
Primary Responsibility:
Team Handling and client management:
Branch Performance Management:
1. Oversee the operational and financial performance of all branches within the assigned area.
2. Drive sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention across all retail banking products (e.g., savings accounts, loans, credit cards, mortgages, etc.).
3. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, employee performance, and branch profitability.
Staff Development & Leadership:
1. Lead, motivate, and develop branch managers and staff to achieve performance objectives and promote a positive working environment.
2. Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide coaching to staff.
3. Ensure proper training and professional development opportunities for branch employees.
Customer Relationship Management:
1. Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any escalated customer complaints or issues.
2. Foster strong relationships with key clients and business partners to enhance customer loyalty.
3. Promote and implement initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Compliance & Risk Management:
1. Ensure all branches in the area are fully compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate any potential risks or weaknesses in branch operations.
3. Uphold the banks commitment to ethical standards and corporate governance.
Sales and Marketing Strategy:
1. Develop and execute local sales and marketing strategies to meet targets and drive market share within the region.
2. Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with corporate campaigns and promotions.
3. Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for market differentiation.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
1. Oversee the budget for the assigned area, ensuring that branches meet financial targets while adhering to cost controls.
2. Analyze financial reports and provide regular updates to senior management regarding branch performance.
Operational Excellence:
1. Ensure operational efficiency and productivity across all branches, with a focus on minimizing operational costs while maintaining high standards of service.
2. Collaborate with the IT and Operations departments to streamline systems and processes.
