Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Analytics to lead our customer acquisition analytics function.
This individual will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the strategy and execution of analytics initiatives across acquisition channels, while also managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
You will play a pivotal role in optimizing customer selection, driving response modeling, shaping offers and pricing strategies, and enabling the product team on key operational aspects of acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Analytics & Optimization:
- Lead analytics for customer acquisition across multiple channels (e., direct mail, digital, affiliates, etc.
- Drive development and deployment of models for customer selection, response prediction, offer optimization, and price sensitivity analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to continuously optimize acquisition strategies and improve ROI.
- Design and monitor A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks to evaluate and enhance campaign performance.
Operational Execution Support:
- Support operational execution including mailing list creation, file transfers for direct mail, and coordination with product and marketing teams on campaign rollouts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of acquisition campaigns and operational deliverables.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 10-15 analysts, promoting a culture of high performance, innovation, and collaboration.
- Provide career development, training, and coaching to team members.
- Drive team motivation, engagement, and ownership, fostering a results-oriented and accountable environment.
Change Management:
- Act as a change leader, helping the team and stakeholders navigate through transformation initiatives, new processes, and evolving strategies.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities in analytics methodologies, processes, and tools to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role within financial services, consumer lending, or a data-driven marketing environment.
- Strong expertise in customer acquisition analytics, including direct mail, digital campaigns, and performance marketing.
- Proven experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e., SQL, Python, R, SAS) and visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of team building, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience supporting operational execution and campaign management processes is a strong plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
