App Growth Head (B2C App top Fintech company only
Role & Responsibilities:
Job Purpose :
- Lead the end-to-end growth and success of the managing a 15-member team to drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Responsible for building and executing strategies to increase app adoption, enhance user engagement, minimize uninstalls, and drive measurable business outcomes through the app channel.
Key Responsibilities:
App Growth & Acquisition:
- Drive new user acquisition through performance marketing, app store optimization, and partnerships.
- Analyze app download metrics and identify opportunities to scale footprints.
Engagement Strategy:
- Develop engagement strategies to increase app stickiness and time spent.
- Leverage analytics to understand which products/features are most viewed and optimize accordingly.
Retention & Conversion:
- Implement strategies to reduce app uninstall rates.
- Drive conversion funnel from first interaction to transaction/business impact.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:
- Track, measure, and report KPIs across acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Benchmark against top apps (fintech, e-commerce, lifestyle) like Navi, CRED, Paytm, Porter, Myntra.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of 15, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams.
Innovation & AI Adoption:
- Incorporate AI-driven insights and performance marketing strategies to improve targeting, personalization, and campaign efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong expertise in app growth, product management, and digital marketing.
- Proven track record in acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion strategies.
- Deep understanding of mobile app analytics, funnels, ASO, and user behavior insights.
- Familiarity with AI-based marketing tools, personalization engines, and performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 12-14 years of relevant experience in app management, growth, or digital product leadership.
- Experience leading mid to large teams (10+ members).
- Exposure to fintech/e-commerce/consumer apps preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in growth metrics and optimization.
