Profile:
- The Portfolio Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Strategy and Delivery team within our Healthcare IT department.
- This position is responsible for assisting in the management of the project portfolio and providing administrative and operational support to ensure successful portfolio delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and report on the status of projects within the portfolio, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Help identify and manage risks, dependencies, and conflicts within the project portfolio.
Project/Program Support:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including project charters, plans, and status reports.
- Coordinate resource allocation and track project budgets and expenditures.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of project progress and any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on portfolio performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and other reporting tools.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other members of the Strategy and Delivery team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination or portfolio management, preferably in a healthcare or IT setting.

Healthcare IT Knowledge:
- Understanding of healthcare IT systems, standards, and regulations.
- Awareness of the unique challenges and requirements in a healthcare setting.
- Experience Supporting EHR Programs: Preferred Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) implementation, optimization, and support.
- Familiarity with supporting EHR implementations (e.g., Epic, Cerner) Familiarity with clinical workflows and data requirements related to EHR systems.
