Desired Education and Working Experience

- MBA/M Tech Industrial Engineering or Management /PG in Engineering or Statistics/ PhD in Operations research / optimization domain

- Hands on experience in Supply Chain areas like Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics, Spend Analytics etc.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amount of data with attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient in BI Tools: Tableau/Power BI

- Proficiency in Programming - R/Python, SQL, MS Office, VBA

Supply Chain Analytics across the value chain:

Responsibilities:

Has worked in the Supply Chain Analytics space with hands on experience in area of Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Inventory Management/Logistics/ Spend - Analytics and Reporting:

- Clearly understands the following areas with hands on work on at least 2-3 areas, incl but not limited to, Sales and Operation Planning, Forecasting, Demand planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory management, Supply Planning, Logistics, Spend and Procurement

- Design Supply Chin Analytical solutions - Define KPIs and metrics and develop BI solutions and reports

- Participate in client meetings, workshops and understand supply chain situation/issues

- Worked on Digital Transformation (data strategy incl orchestration, Governance, Architecture, BI to build reporting/insights/analytics factory)

- Has a mix of modeling & programming experience & led analytics solutioning and delivery

- Having experience in modeling work for solving core business issues using forecasting, predictive modeling, Machine learning / python / R will be an added advantage.

- Visualization tools: Good to have exposure to BI application

- Ability to learn different analytical tools as per business requirement

- Good knowledge on various statistical forecasting and inventory optimization techniques

- Design Supply Chain Analytical solutions - Define KPIs and metrics and develop BI solutions

- Handle large datasets - Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights

- Work closely with global client multiple cross functional teams to identify business needs, requirements and prioritize needs-

Desired Experience:

- 8-10 Years' experience in Supply Chain Analytics

- Conceptual understanding in areas such as Forecasting, Classification, Simulation and optimization using various approaches is required.

- Strong understanding of SCM Planning process, Demand (Top & Bottoms up) approaches

- Hands-on experience on statistical, forecasting, stochastic algorithms, Machine Learning approaches solving SCM problems across Industry (Manufacturing/ Hitech/ CPG/ Retail etc.)

- Adapts quickly to computer applications & systems and is proficient in MS Office Suite of products

- Strong Process Development, Improvement and Implementation experience

- Ability to lead a team with a continuous improvement mind-set.

- Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external projects

- Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
