Analytics Lead - Financial Data

Our client, a global leader in investment and technology development, is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to support their Front Office and Investment Research teams.

About the Role:

Are you an expert in Financial Data Analytics, Investment Research, and Process Automation? Do you have strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams? In this role, you'll lead and mentor a team of analysts, working closely with traders, investment professionals, and technology teams to develop robust financial data models, drive automation, and provide critical insights for trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Financial Data Analysis - Work extensively with large and complex financial datasets, extracting insights to support investment decisions

- Model Development - Develop scalable models to process, analyze, and interpret financial data for trading strategies

- Process Automation - Collaborate with in-house tech teams to streamline financial data workflows and enhance analytical tools

- Investment Research Support - Conduct financial data research, summarize industry/company calls, and prepare quarterly earnings reports

- Team Leadership & People Management - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, ensuring performance excellence and career growth

Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDBA with 3-6 years of experience in Financial Data Analytics, Investment Research, or Trading Analytics

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Financial Data Analysis, with the ability to interpret large datasets for trading and investment insights

- Proven leadership and people management experience - ability to mentor, guide, and manage a team of analysts

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills to interact with traders, analysts, and global stakeholders

- Proficiency in Python and general software development skills (debugging, testing, deployment, etc. )
