Role Description:
We seek a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager with a passion for fueling the growth of innovative startups.
This is a pivotal role for an individual who excels in building financial infrastructure, strategic analysis, and the creation of investor-focused reporting.
This role demands an individual who possesses deep financial acumen, rigorous analytical skills, and a proactive approach to financial management.
You will be instrumental in building the infrastructure, reporting, and forecasting that underpin sound business decisions and showcase our potential for continued long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Design, develop, maintain and oversee robust financial reporting systems that provide accurate, timely, and insightful visibility into our performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, clearly communicating recommendations for action.
- Financial Modelling and Projections: Design and Build robust financial models and projections that illustrate the company's growth potential, revenue streams, key performance metrics, and valuation assessments.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Spearhead the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial plans with strategic growth objectives.
- Monitor variances, proactively identify deviations, and recommend corrective measures.
- Internal Systems and Controls: Implement and manage rigorous internal accounting systems, controls, and processes to ensure data integrity, protect assets, and comply with accounting standards and regulations.
- Investor Relations: Support the Founder in preparing investor presentations, due diligence packages, and financial reporting tailored to investor expectations.
- Collaborate in responding to investor inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
- Cash Flow Management: Develop and execute strategies for effective cash flow management, optimizing working capital, and ensuring financial stability.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance, minimizing liabilities and ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing Finance and Accounting team to support sustained growth.
Requirements:
Education: CA.
- Experience (Post qualification): Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive financial management experience within startups, ideally in the healthcare sector or Big 5 firms.
- Financial Modelling: Exceptional proficiency in building complex financial models and projections.
- Accounting Systems: Deep knowledge of accounting principles and expertise in implementing and managing robust accounting systems.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data effectively.
