We are seeking a skilled Trade Compliance Consultant with 5-7 years of experience in customs and GST handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with trade regulations, managing import/export activities, and optimizing tax efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with customs laws, GST regulations, and international trade policies - Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and duty payments - Monitor and implement changes in trade regulations, customs tariffs, and GST laws - Handle GST compliance, filings, and reconciliation for cross-border transactions - Work with internal teams to optimize supply chain and trade-related cost efficiencies - Conduct risk assessments and audits related to trade compliance and taxation - Collaborate with government authorities, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies - Provide training and advisory support on trade compliance and tax matters - Develop and implement SOPs for trade compliance and tax reporting - Address trade-related disputes, penalties, and regulatory inquiries Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, International Trade, or related field - 5-7 years of experience in trade compliance, customs handling, and GST management - Strong knowledge of Indian customs laws, GST regulations, and international trade policies - Experience with import/export documentation, E-way bills, and bonded warehouse procedures - Familiarity with trade compliance software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in tax and trade reporting - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment
