Role Summary:

This position is responsible for establishing handling daily QC activities, training and alignment of QC team, troubleshooting with IPQA deputation staff, technical assessment and implementation of GLP.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

- Establish and review Quality Control Process

- Team training and calibration of Rice Analyst

- Technical review of Rice analyst and trained the team for requirement

- Review and approval for packing samples received from site

- Daily deviation tracker - Team problem discussion and daily reporting from active sites.

- Analyst utilization and Analysis reporting within TAT.

- Plan & conduct trainings on Grain & Smell Observation.

Quality Management System:

- Documentation review of Lab operation

- Review the documentation against QMS & FSMS requirements.

- Updating documents as required against GFSI requirement.

- Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, testing, and QMS activities

- Grains and Blends R&D activity and documentation

- Developing Specifications of all brands in alignment with Mayar foods. If any changes required due to the crop variation it will be done accordingly.

Statistical process control (SPC):

- Review and analysis of various reports.

- Establish analysis plan to analyse data using different statistical tools.

- Monthly presentation of SPC reports and lay down action plan to address the challenges.

- Train team for basic analysis methods

- Variance analysis between site and lab and action plan to mitigate the variance.

GRC& Supplier Internation :

- Achieving Zero customer complaints from Saudi Arabia for product and packaging material

- Address quality-related concerns from suppliers, ensuring prompt resolution of complaints and queries.

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complaints and implement corrective actions (CAPA), documenting results.

- Coordination with key stakeholders for timely resolution and closure of complaints and deviation raised.

Business Excellence:

- Maintaining and updating dashboard for QC activities with deliverables aligned as per KPI

- Problem solving tools training and implementation within QC team

- APQR for all SKU

- Process establishment for defining center lining can be performed stating the parameters, criteria, and enablers required

- CTQ (Critical to Quality) defining, measurement and improvement.

Key Result Areas (KRAs:

- Carry analysis of various site quality reports, internal analysis report and present in summarized form

- Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, testing, and QMS activities.

- Timely training and calibration of QC team

- Dashboard Management and reporting to management

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complaints and implement corrective actions (CAPA), documenting results.

- Timely closure of complaints, deviation and NC raised with supplier

- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of SOPs and QC procedures

- Develop and implement comprehensive food safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry's best practices.
