Role - VP - Partnerships (Investment/AIF Products)
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
The Business Development Lead will be responsible to develop the distribution network of the Asset Management (AMC) arm described briefly as under:
a. Individually driving coverage and onboarding of National level Distributors for the firm's AIF product;
b. Assisting in increasing the coverage of IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors) and other Distributors for the firm's AIF product;
c. Assisting in increasing the coverage of Family Offices for the firm's AIF product.
The role will involve :
- Taking the initiative in reaching out independently to National level Distributors. Assisting and coordinating with the group's team in increasing the IFAs, Distributors and Family Offices coverage, to explain the AIF product and generate leads.
- Converting the leads that he/she generates from National level distributors and Family offices into partnerships with the AMC (with the help of senior management), independently in case of IFAs and other Distributors.
- Drive new client acquisition through the partnerships created with National level Distributors, IFAs, and Distributors
- Maintain and manage the relationships for AIF products with aforesaid National level Distributors, Coordinating for the aforesaid IFAs, Family Offices and other Distributors
The candidate should have :
- 6-9 years of total experience with relevant experience in sales/marketing of Investment/AIF products to IFAs/Wealth Managers/Distributors.
- Aspiration to move up to a more Pan India role and Multi-channel distribution.
- Willing to take up a more challenging role and career enhancement through building up a multi-channel distribution.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Fixed Income Product experience will be an added advantage
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualifications from reputed institute
- Ability to work with a small entrepreneurial team
- Willingness to travel
- Fixed Income Product experience will be an added advantage
