Role Overview:

- AiSensy is looking for a Business Development Manager Government Projects to lead our Government Sector initiatives.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in government sales, knowledge of government procurement processes, and a proven track record of working with public sector clients in the SaaS or technology domain.

- This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic partnerships and expand our government business.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow AiSensy's presence in the government sector, targeting central and state government departments, educational institutions, and other public agencies.

Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, qualify, and engage with potential government clients to create new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers within government bodies and agencies.

Tendering & RFPs: Lead the preparation and submission of government bids, working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely responses.

Product Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase AiSensy's value in enhancing government communications and citizen engagement.

Sales Process & Negotiation: Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with government procurement processes.

Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends and government-led digital initiatives like Digital India and e-Governance to uncover new opportunities.

Customer Success & Retention: Work with the customer success team to ensure the smooth implementation of AiSensy's solutions, fostering customer satisfaction and driving renewals.

Qualifications:

Experience: 6+ years in business development, with at least 3 years in selling SaaS or technology products to government entities.

Sales Expertise: Strong background in managing large government contracts and driving business in the B2B SaaS space.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with senior government officials.

Networking: Proven ability to build relationships with government stakeholders and policymakers.

Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, or related fields); MBA is a plus.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and their use in government digital engagement is beneficial.

Travel: Willing to travel for client meetings and government events.

Preferred Qualifications:.

Digital Engagement Experience: Experience with digital marketing platforms like WhatsApp Business API used for government outreach.

Government Program Knowledge: Familiarity with initiatives like Digital India and e-Governance is a plus.
