Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute category business plans and long-term growth strategies.
- Identify new market opportunities and craft competitive go-to-market strategies.
P&L Ownership
- Manage full P&L responsibility for the category, including revenue, profitability, pricing, and trade margin optimization.
Product & Portfolio Management
- Oversee product assortment, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Lead innovation and new product development (NPD) initiatives to drive differentiation and market expansion.
Sales & Channel Expansion
- Build and expand strong distribution networks across B2B, exports, e-commerce, and modern trade channels.
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive penetration and market share growth.
Marketing & Brand Building
- Partner with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and trade marketing strategies.
- Strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement across key channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in seasonings/spices or food ingredients categories, with proven expertise in scaling categories.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record in P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with global food trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging markets
