Role Overview

We are building Indias largest agri-commerce network. You will lead the design, hiring, and management of a 400-member ground force tasked with onboarding retailers onto our platform (Agrim Retailer App).

Your mandate is simple but demanding: Lead the ground force to onboard 200k agri-input retailers in 2 years while maintaining CAC discipline.

By leading Indias largest ground activation team, youll ensure retailers across towns and villages join our platform quickly, compliantly, and at the right cost. Crack this, and we unlock the distribution backbone that transforms agri-commerce at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Hire and manage a 400-member distributed field activation team across India

- Design and standardize sales and training processes

- Drive performance systems (dashboards, tracking, audits) to maximise productivity and control CAC.

- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure seamless onboarding experience

- Manage vendors, agencies, and local partners for hiring, logistics, and compliance.

Success Metrics

- Monthly retailer onboardings run-rate

- Customer Acquisition Cost

- Quality of Retailer onboarding

- A field org structure that scales beyond 400 agents without chaos.

Requirements

- 10 - 15 years experience in sales force management in industries like FMCG, fintech, telecom, microfinance, or B2B marketplaces.

- Strong grasp of unit economics and experience driving CAC discipline.

- Hands-on with data-driven sales ops (MIS, dashboards, funnel metrics).

- Proven track record of building and scaling large distributed teams (300+) from scratch.

- Experience with vendor management for field-force hiring.
