MBA-HR with 15 to 20 yrs experience in manufacturing industries in IR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial Relations Strategy: Develop and implement proactive IR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Maintain harmonious industrial relations at the plant.
- Union Handling: Liaise and negotiate with trade unions, ensure healthy communication and manage long-term wage settlements.
- Compliance & Legal: Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, ID Act, etc. Handle labour inspections and audits.
- Disciplinary Actions: Manage disciplinary processes including domestic inquiries, grievances, misconduct, and termination processes as per legal norms.
- Contract Labour Management: Supervise contractors compliance, maintain cordial contractor-employee relations, and review manpower deployment.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of trust, communication, and employee well-being. Conduct engagement activities and grievance redressals.
- Liaison with Authorities: Coordinate with government authorities like Labour Office, Factory Inspectorate, etc.
- Conflict Management: Address and resolve conflicts at the shop-floor level, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Documentation & MIS: Maintain all statutory records, IR documentation, and generate timely reports for management review.
Desired Profile:
- Proven track record in handling IR in a large-scale manufacturing unit.
- Hands-on experience with union negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations.
